Selling Tips & Strategies for Online Jewelry Retail Business

Birthstones Strategies

If you are running your online stores, please update your main image at your landing page. Let say this month is April and the birthstone for this month is ’Diamond’. All you need to do is refer back to all your products images and find out all the jewelry with diamond setting. Other than diamond, you can select Clear Cubic Zirconia too. That’s count.  Select the best items from each category of your jewelry. For examples, pick one best or hot selling jewelry design of necklace on your necklaces category and do it the same for the other entire categories such as Rings, Bracelets and etc. Next, you can use Adobe Photoshop or any image editor that you familiar with to group all the selected images into one picture. Put marketing text like ‘Large April Birthstones Jewelry Collection’ that you want to show to all your customers. Once you done that, upload it to your landing page. This is the proven strategies that will bring you business. Do it the same for other months. You can use this strategy to sell in eBay too.

 

Newsletter Strategies

Keep your database up-to-date with new jewelry items. Different people love different designs. There are many hot designs of jewelry such as animal, insect, round, square, heart, religious, oval, birthstones, just to name a few and they are among the popular groups. So, send out newsletter at least once a month with all your new arrival items to your subscribers.

 

Free Shipping Strategies

Give out free shipping when customer purchase over a certain amount. For example, you pay the shipping fee for your customers if they purchase more than $100. Besides, you can give free gift as an extra like a jewelry cleaning or polishing cloths.


Low Shipping Fees Strategies

Always offer shipping options for your customers. Some customers do not mind if their order arrives a bit longer. Allow customers to choose shipping courier like Express or International Airmail.


Free Repair Strategies

Allow your customers to send their items back for free repair in 30 days. This is a very good customer service. Some wholesalers offer free repair services. If your customer does not happy with your item and send it back to you for repair, you can always send it back to the wholesaler company that you purchase your jewelry from.
